I am a freelance writer and editor specializing in horses, health and lifestyle topics. I graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a journalism degree in 2004. I obtained a teaching degree from Park University in Kansas City in 2006.
Horse health and welfare is my main interest, and my writing in this area has appeared in Horse Care Magazine , Horse Sport, Horse-Canada and on The Horse website. I also regularly write features of interest to the non-horsey world. My articles have appeared in the Calgary Herald, Avenue Magazine, on the CBC website and in 2 Magazine.
In the fiction realm, I have written three high-interest books for young reluctant readers. Dark Ryder, The Bully and Misty Knows are available through HIP Books.
